What I believe...

It is important that readers know what a person believes when they are reading something from them. The need to know, for example, if the person is writing from the Right or from the Left.

I decided to post my beliefs below:

I'm me. Who else would I be?

I am an issues-oriented person who looks at each issue from multiple perspectives and thinks about how decisions affect people.

I am right-of-center on most issues, particularly fiscal ones. (To put it simply, a short political quiz that I recently took placed me on the line of right-of-center moderate, conservative, and Libertarian. Sounds about right).

I believe that most good decisions are made through discussion, compromise, and are made “in the middle.” We need to put People First!

I believe in personal responsibility and accountability.

I believe that all people can rise above their circumstances and achieve anything.

I believe that people are only limited by themselves.

I believe in States Rights and the accountability of government.

I am “America First” as well as “People First.”

I am pro-Constitution and believe in self-government.

I believe in healthy, robust, and respectful debates that are based on verifiable facts.

I believe that people need to do their due diligence and research as well as fact-check everything that they are told.
